How to assign Manager to employees?

You can assign a manager as follows:
– Verify User role is assigned to Reporting Manager
– Go to Employee Directory and Edit employee
– Go to Access Tab and verify role set User. Update to User role if not set.
– Enable the checkbox “User can be added as Manager/Department Head” and Save.

Now you can assign him/her as manager to employees either One by One or in Bulk :
1.One by One
Go to Web Dashboard > Employee Directory
Click on Action to edit . Go to employee details and select manager from the drop down
Go to Web Dashboard > Employee Directory > Bulk Edit > Download spreadsheet
Update Manager Employee Id and upload

Manager will be able to view all his/her reporting employees, approve leaves, regularize attendance. Refer to the Roles details for all access available to managers.
