Is there a provision to allow the staff to use another staff member’s mobile for marking attendance?

There is a provision to allow or disallow the staff to use another staff member’s mobile for attendance.

In Truein Web Dashboard:

Web Dashboard: Settings > Attendance > Attendance Configuration > Enable ‘Attendance on each other’s mobile from User App’ 

Enabling this feature will allow a staff member to take attendance from another staff member’s mobile. If required, you can disable this feature as per your company’s policies.

In either case, rest assured that attendance will be marked based on face recognition, and the location will be stamped.
