Gate registers, WhatsApp photos and Excel sheets create gaps that surface in every payroll run.
Teams switching to Truein report fewer payroll corrections and full site visibility.
Already running fingerprint or IR terminals?
Fingerprint readers depend on clean, dry hands, which is a limitation of the capture method rather than of your setup. Truein adds face verification on standard Android and iOS tablets so you can deploy it without replacing the hardware you already have.
Truein supports construction sites across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. Policies cover the Saturday and Sunday weekend in the UAE, the Friday rest day observed elsewhere in the GCC, Ramadan reduced hours, and country overtime rules.
Verified headcount by site, agency, and worker category supports accurate reporting that feeds into Emiratisation and Nitaqat requirements. The same records support contract labour compliance and give your team a verified attendance history for every worker and every agency.
A construction site attendance system records and verifies when workers arrive at and leave a job site, then converts those records into hours for payroll. On construction projects, it has to work across multiple temporary sites, cover agency staff from several manpower agencies, and keep recording when there is no network on site. For contract workforces beyond construction, see Truein's contract labour attendance system.
Geofencing draws a GPS boundary around each site so a punch only counts inside it. On construction projects the boundary is set per site, per floor or per zone, which matters for tower cores, basements, plots with unusual shapes and labour camps kept separate from the work front. Truein supports a minimum configurable radius of 20 metres, and out-of-boundary punches can be blocked, flagged or routed for supervisor approval depending on your setup.
Truein verifies the hours. Your payroll system files the wages. Attendance is captured with face verification and geofencing, compiled into site-wise and agency-wise reports, and exported to your payroll or HRMS so your team can process payroll under the Wage Protection System. Truein is not payroll software and does not generate the SIF file itself.
AI-powered attendance and Hours Tracking for GCC sites, ensuring every hour is captured, verified, and compliant.

No. A shared tablet at the site gate covers the whole crew, and supervisors can punch in a crew from a single device. Workers with their own Android or iOS phones can also punch in directly.
Yes. Punches are captured and stored on the device, then sync automatically when the network returns. Offline records are marked as “captured offline” and appear in the dashboard after they sync.
Truein's face recognition operates at around 95 to 100 percent accuracy, including with hard hats, masks, facial hair and changed hairstyles. A face-match failure blocks the punch and prompts a retry.
Yes. Each site, floor or zone can be geofenced individually, with a minimum configurable radius of 20 metres. Depending on your configuration, out-of-boundary punches can be blocked, flagged or sent for approval.
Yes. Multiple agencies run under one account, each with its own headcount cap, site mapping, policies, and document expiry tracking. Each agency supervisor sees only their own workers, separate from your company staff.
No. Truein provides verified attendance and hours through standard reports and payroll integrations, which your payroll team uses for WPS-based processing. The SIF file is produced by your payroll system.
Truein integrates with ADP, SAP, Sage, and Xero via API for real-time sync or FTP for batch workflows. Truein is not payroll software or an HRMS. It provides the verified time data those systems run on.
Truein operates across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman, with 70+ configurable policies designed to support compliance with local overtime, rest day and Ramadan working hour rules. See Truein's time and attendance system for the Middle East for the regional overview, plus reference guides on UAE labour law and Saudi employment law.
Software setup for a new site takes minutes, and workers can be enrolled in seconds with a single selfie. Where a site uses a shared tablet kiosk, that tablet has to be physically installed at the location.
Each agency's attendance is tracked separately under one account, with agency-wise hours and headcount visible to the main contractor. That gives your team the records to spot the same worker appearing under two agencies and to challenge the invoice. The comparison itself is a human review; Truein supplies the verified attendance it runs on.
