Time & Attendance for Contractual and Distributed Staff
When a staff member takes leave for two days or more and a holiday falls in between, the holiday is considered paid leave under the sandwich leave policy.
You can apply the sandwich rule by enabling the “Apply sandwich rule” policy from the Web Dashboard. There are two ways to do it.
In Truein Web Dashboard:
Method 1: While Adding Leave Policy
Web Dashboard: Leaves > Setup Leaves > Leave Policies > Add Leave Policy > Enable ‘Apply sandwich rule’ > Click Save
Method 2: While Editing existing Leave Policy
Web Dashboard: Leaves > Setup Leave> Leave Policies > Action column > Click Three Dots> Edit > Enable ‘Apply sandwich rule’ > Click Save
