Is there an option to allot leaves to the staff only after their probation period ends?

A probationary period is a defined period from hiring until the newly hired staff member is considered a permanent staff member.

If the staff is in their probation period, you can enable the policy “Allow leaves after X days of joining”(X can be customized). You can enable this policy through the Web Dashboard.

 

In Truein Web Dashboard:

 

Method 1: While adding new leave policy

 

Web Dashboard: Leaves > Setup Leaves > Leave Policies > Add Leave Policy > Scroll down and Enable the Policy “Allocate leaves after X days of joining” > Click Save

 

 

Method 2: While editing existing leave policy

 

Web Dashboard: Leaves > Setup Leaves > Leave Policies > Action Column > Click Three Dots > Edit > Scroll down and Enable the Policy “Allocate leaves after X days of joining” > Click Save
