If the grace period is 15 minutes and the employee has punched in for one of two shifts, which shift will be assigned?

Including the grace period, the shift closest to the punching time will be assigned.
For Eaxmple : Grace Time – 15 minutes
Shift 1 – 12:00 pm
Shift 2 – 12:30 pm
Employee will be assigned the second shift.
