How to set up multi-level leave approval?

A ‘Multi-Level Leave Approval’ is when a staff member’s leave request has to be approved by a few levels in the company. The levels can vary according to the company’s policies.

You can set up multi-level leave approval for your staff either individually (one by one) or in bulk.


In Truein Web Dashboard:

You need to set the multilevel leave approvers in leave policies.
Web Dashboard: Leaves > Setup Leaves > Leave Policies > Add/Edit Leave Policy

Now you can set Leave Approval as per your organization requirements.



Adding Staff Individually (One by One):


Web Dashboard: Staff Directory > Action Column > Edit > Work Tab > Enter Names of the Leave Approvers



Adding Staff in Bulk:

Web Dashboard: Staff Directory > Bulk upload > Detailed worksheet > Enter Names of the Leave Approvers
